About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! The Pool is Open!

We have been talking about getting a pool.  A real one.  Our girls love the water and played happily together in our tiny blow up pool for over 3 hours today.  3 hours.  I was able to have some time to myself and there were no fights, no complaining, no "I'm Bored".  It was heavenly!  Perhaps a "real" pool is somewhere in the future for us, but for today I loved that little blow up pool.  I'm hoping the magic will still be there tomorrow....

So much fun!!

What is that yellow house in the background? It looks too small to be your house but maybe it's just the angle. Either way I LOVE it!

I love the blow up pool too! I do wish the magic would last a little longer too. that is the cutest little house behind your girls! Is it a playhouse?

Playhouse? It looks like a guest house for someone like me! It is BEAUTIFUL!

Looks like the girls had a great time yesterday...I do think you should get a pool if I had the room in my backyard I would want a pool!
Have a great day!

What fun the girls are having! Of course, I can't get over the cuteness of that playhouse or how beautifully manicured your lawn is! Lindsey was reading along with me and asked if the girls could come over and go swimming and maybe their Dad can help us build a house that pretty? Too funny!

So glad you got some alone Mom time while they were swimming!

I LOVE that playhouse in the background! It reminds me of the one my grandpa built for my sisters and I when we were young. We had a pool at our last house! LOVED IT! It was a sanity saver... we were stupid to not buy a house, when we moved, with a pool. You will not regret the pool.

Oh, I think we are going to use My Father's World. I would like to use Sonlight, but the $$ is greater. We will see how it goes.

I would love to have a pool myself. In this heat it would be great. The high here is showing 100.2, to hot for me I love cool weather. Hope your magic keeps right on going! Blessings, Karen

I don't think the fun of a pool wears off until you walk out one day and the inside is a funky color and kind of slimy. We have one of the soft sided pools with the inflatable lip. That has been a hit for two summers straight.

So that's how you keep them from complaining and saying, "I'm so bored!" Genius! Looks like great fun. What a beautiful grass you have!
