About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Scones, Helen Corning and a Great Book

Not as good as scones with clotted cream in England, but I hear they are close. (Panera)
(I didn't have one- saving my beloved WW points, ladies.)

Nancy Drew class today.
Helen Corning's Caramel Cookies were on the menu and The Hidden Staircase was the book of the week.  Nancy Drew is eternally cool. (Just ask my girls)

Just bought copies (as in multiple) of this book.
I seriously want to give one to all my friends and every woman I meet.
Debora Coty is right on the money.
It will make you laugh and cry and it will change your heart for the better.
It's what I didn't know I needed but it found me just the same.:)

It's Friday!

Would you believe that I've never even tried a scone before? I think I must be missing something! Happy Friday to you, too, Lori!
