About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Invitations are Ready!

The invitations turned out to be a joint effort.:D  I started with blank cards from Hobby Lobby in fun colors.  Then we added a fun little poem....

Katie wants to have buttons at her party (gotta love that!) as they will go with the games and crafts she has planned.  Thanks to a tip from Preppy Mama, I ordered a Martha Stewart button shaped punch.  It was so fun to use!:D  I attached the buttons with photo stickers to the card...

Then, Katie embellished the buttons!  These were turned into flowers...

   These were turned into lollipops!:D

We're off to put them in the mail.  Have a fabulous day!:D

Hi Lori
Those Button invitations are beautiful. What a lovely idea. The poem is lovely. I am sure Katie will have a wonderful birthday party. Reminds me a bit of an Arty Party I once did for Jessica.

Good Morning, Lori, What cute invitations! And I personlly think that Katie sounds not only like a mini-Martha, but a mini-Lori! You are one creative gal yourself! :)

I received the bracelet last night, and I absolutely LOVE it! You outdid yourself! Kevin brought the mail in, and we were all gathered in the kitchen. When I saw the return address, I headed to the bathroom, locked myself in and had to take a peek. I know, I'd already seen it, but it was even more beautiful in person! I carefully opened the packaging, which was amazing, I might add...took a peek, and carefully wrapped it back up! I just loved the charms you found and the crystals were a wonderful touch! Thank you so much for making it, and for such attention to the details! Ashley will love it! ~Rhonda :)
