About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Seeds, Glorious Seeds!

Seeds are everywhere!  Thoughts of our lovely (future) garden are running through my head....  Sugar snap peas, zucchini (for roasted vegetable medleys and zucchini bread!), yellow squash, tomatoes, sunflowers, watermelons (will this be the year?), and pumpkins (I want to grow tons and have a Pumpkin Party in the Fall!)!

I would love roses, camellias and gardenias, but don't have much luck with them.  So, I will be happy with morning glories and moon flowers, (took forever to appear last year, but the wait was worth it!  Beautiful and such a heavenly scent!) cosmos, snapdragons, lavender, hydrangeas, marigolds, and zinnias.

What are you planning on planting this year?:-)

Yeah, the 10 cent seed packets finally came in! Are you buying any for next years Valentine's?

I'm scaling down this year,,,with the baby coming in May, I'm trying (for once) to be realistic about what I can actually keep weeded and watered! I'm planting a mess of wildflowers and hoping they will be pretty maintenance free, and then just a few tomato plants in the vegetable garden this year. Gotta have homegrown tomatoes, no matter what!
