About Me
- mysteryhistorymom
- Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Lori at toosillysisters@cox.net

Peep Peep and Quack
Look what we got to play with today! Our home school group took a field trip to a huge hardware store and these little cuties greeted us at the door. There were many different types of baby chicks (why do they have to grow up?) and darling little baby ducks. The girls begged to take some home, and I have to say I was tempted. Maybe someday.:) We then toured the store and at the very end the kids got to plant some flowers to take home. We can't wait to go back!

Oh! How could you resist that little black chick? K keeps asking to join 4-H here, and I think "eek, slippery slope. First we're learning how to knit (a good thing) and the next thing you know, we're raising a Hereford in the back yard..."
Thanks for the sweet comment about my quilt. I appreciate it. Oh my gosh that little black chick is too cute. Reminds me of my cat, Hailey. She's such a pain, but she is cute.
That book sounds great, and I love the photo of you and your sweet kitty cat. Life is perfect when I'm crafting and my kitty cat is by my side. Can you tell I'm a cat person?
Oh, how sweet! That looks like so much fun!
