Let's take a little walk down memory lane... Growing up, I loved Charlie's Angels. When my friends and I played together I was always Jacklyn Smith and my younger sister was stuck being Kate Jackson. Going undercover, solving crimes and always looking fabulous. I wanted so badly to be like that when I grew up. You know, Nancy Drew living on the wild side. Oh, and do you remember Charlie's Angels trading cards? Well, it may be before your time. (You really missed out.) They were just like baseball cards and came with a stiff, cardboard like piece of gum and an angel sticker. I faithfully collected and traded those cards. Of course, some cards/stickers were worth more than others but that only depended on the person. I still remember trying to play it cool so I could get a card that I really wanted! Those were the days. I loved those cards. Then, for some reason, one day I just decided to throw them away. Can you imagine how much they would be worth today? I just can't think about it...
About Me
- mysteryhistorymom
- Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Lori at toosillysisters@cox.net

Wait..."stuck" being Kate Jackson? But she was the most fabulous! I begged to be Kate Jackson! Is my inner nerd coming out? I distinctly remember the very last doll I ever received as a Christmas present. I was nearly 12 and nearing the end of my doll-playing days. Sabrina in her red jumpsuit....

Hey Lori ~ I have actually met Farrah several times (she was a neighbor of a woman I worked for in the early 70's) and I remember her being very nice, down to earth and TINY!
I so remember Charlie's Angels. I didn't have any of the cards. But I remember my babysitter had the stickers stuck on her closet door. Makes ya feel old, doesn't it? Lol!
I'm still upset about you chucking the cards--my Star Wars cards were intermingled with your Charlie's Angels. (You had the #3 CARD!!)
-Forever Sabrina (remember, she was the smart one)
