About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Sweet Tweets and Mr. UPS

It's almost 2:00 AM- again. (Jes- are you still up?)  Those of you that know me well know that I am such a NIGHT OWL.  Must. Break. This. Habit.  sigh....  Well, while I'm up let me remind you to *enter my Necklace Giveaway* (previous post)!
And, while I have your attention, here is my show and tell for the day.  Do you remember show and tell at school?  Those were the days.  I think we should have grown-up show and tell- just for fun.:)
Olenka sent me the most wonderful package of goodies!  She is one creative lady!  A darling notebook...

A sweet gift card holder with *gasp* a Starbuck's gift card!  Yippee!

Look at her attention to detail!  You should see the lovely things in her Etsy shop!

She made this precious gift box out of paper!  Wowzers!  And inside were beautiful tags!

This is the outside of the gift box.  Thank you so much for the sweet surprises, Olenka!

I won a giveaway from Tiffany at Love Boxes, too!  Have you seen her hand painted works of art?  Gorgeous.  Not only did she send me the sweet little bear Love Box, she also included candies, toys, crayons, tags, a book, a notebook and pencils!

   Look at the darling wrapping...

Then, yesterday Mr. UPS showed up at my door with a HUGE box.  It was something from Red Envelope!  My mind was racing!  Who could this be from??
It turns out it was from my dear friend, Heather!  We met when we were partners in a book swap and have been close ever since.  She is an absolute treasure, let me tell you...

Look at these sweet tweets!  Oh, I LOVE them!  They are lanterns!

I love their sweet faces and the colors are beautiful!  Thank you so much, Heather!
*Once again, don't forget to enter my giveaway!*  I will draw a winner on Sunday!  Now I am going to bed...

Neck Advice

Alright ladies.  I am now 40 years old.  My neck area still looks good and I want to keep it that way.  Any suggestions as to what I can use?  There are so many products on the market and I am overwhelmed!

Easter Swap

I was one lucky duck when Emilie paired me up with Jen for her Easter Swap!  We had a blast getting to know each other!  Jen is a "fairy" of sorts in that she made so many of my Easter dreams come true!  Have a look...

The darling little carrot tag now lives with Mr. Bunny.  I think he needs a new bow, though...

Jen wrote the sweetest notes.  I love this one especially!  Jesus is truly what Easter is all about.  The banner she is referring to (FABULOUS!) is below...

Look at the detail!  I know!  This banner is amazingly gorgeous!  I showed Jen a picture in Country Living magazine and she made me a banner that looked even better than the magazine!  Only Jen!:)

It's hard to see the colors in this picture but they are romantic and oh so shabby chic!

How about one more shot?  Why not??  I love it, Jen!

Look at my little vintage glittered bunny and her sweet flowers!  And how about the pink hand towels!  Pink, pink, pink and glitter- me, me, me!:)
LOOK. AT. THIS.  Jen hand painted it!  Oh yes, she did!  Utterly fabulous!

Jen and I are all about the little birdies and look at what she made for me!  A sweet framed nest!!

Jen collects "G's" and now I am going to start collecting "D's"!  Thanks, Sweetie!  I love the colors and the little birdie is the "cherry on top"!  LOVE IT!

Here's another wish that Fairy Jen created!  Will you look at this darling sign??  You know we will be having an Easter egg Hunt this year!!

Here is the complete box of Easter love!  Jen, I cannot wait to be partners again!:)

Last Nights Apprentice

Any thoughts on last nights Apprentice?  First of all, I was APPALLED at the commercials the teams created.  One word- TACKY.  I was very disappointed in Clint Black.  I thought he was classier than that.  And how about the firing at the end??!!  Shame on you, Donald Trump.  T. Boz (?) deserved to stay.  I admired her for volunteering to go back to the board room.  Those commercials were disgusting, though.  No wonder neither team won.

Custom Made...

just for ME!  I created this sweet little necklace for myself this week-end.  A little reflection of me.:)  My first initial, a precious little tweet and a bit of sparkle all on a sterling silver ball chain

I'd love to make one especially for you, too!  Just think, a necklace that represents things that you love- a favorite color, animal, craft, first/last initial, the cross, a heart, flower, angel, etc.  So many possibilities...  What a wonderful gift, too!  A one of a kind piece of jewelry for you or a loved one.  What do you think?  Should I list them in my shop?
