Epcot

Epcot! My first time ever and I was blown. away. They were clebrating their annual Flower and Garden Festival and it was lovely! We even lucked into meeting Cinderella's stepmother and the wicked step-sisters. The sisters were a hoot, especially the one on the right. They certainly knew their parts!

Here we are in "The Princess and the Frog" garden. Love, love, love that movie!

Even Tinkerbell was there with her own Butterfly garden and lots of fairy fun!

Katie found all the fairies and did crayon rubbings in various locations. When she was done she was presented with a crown and fairy seeds.

A cute BIG shop in Japan. This is where Mandy got her Pokemon Gengar shirt. She loves that shirt and people kept stopping her telling her they liked it, too.:)

Working on our first Kim Possible mission in England. They were educational, entertaining and FUN!

That evening we dined at Chef de France (in- you guessed it- France). Remember the movie, Ratatouille? Lobster bisque, salmon, ratouille and Creme Brulee for me.:) Needless to say that with all the walking we did that week I still gained weight! As we were eating our Creme Brulee the fireworks started right outside the restaurant. It was absolutely magical! (Thanks, Alicia!)

Nancy Drew Swappers!

Nancy Drew Swappers! Today is the final day to send off your package to your partner. Be sure to pop it in the mail! I cannot wait to see the goodies that you have made/purchased! I received one of my packages today (I have 2 partners) and it is FABULOUS! Thank you, Jenn! Jenn is currently at the Nancy Drew convention in Florida. Wish I was there, too! Half the convention is on land and the other half is a CRUISE! Woo Hoo!

Disney!

Disney! We stayed on property at The Beach Club resort and it was lovely. highly recommend. We were able to walk to Epcot (beautiful little stroll) and everything was delightful! We enjoyed the Clambake dinner the first night and these little beauties (petit fours and mini cupcakes) were part of the dessert buffet. Oh my goodness, they were soooo good!

Jeff even made some for me.:) He makes perfect golden brown marshmallows. I just burn mine.

Then we watched movies on the beach! Each night there was a different movie. I would go back just to do that...

Julie and Robert

I met Julie from Joy's Hope! She came to my home and was as sweet as I thought she would be. She complimented me on my house and my girls and was just about to help me with my decor when I decided to give Robert Pattinson a call (we are friends, you know). Then I woke up.

Florida!

Florida! Our first stop was to spend time with my parents. Oh, how I miss them. Can I just say that they are the BEST.:) Sweet Lindsay called me (all the way from England) while I was there! My parents met her last year when she and her family were vacationing at Disney World. Lindsay asked if I could take some pictures of my parent's house so she could have a peek. Here you go, dear sister.:)

This is their lovely pool complete with hammock and Adirondack chair for relaxing. Adirondack chairs are not the most comfortable to sit it but they sure are charming! My girls love the hammock but I have a hard time getting out gracefully. tee hee...

I could spend some serious time right here. One evening it rained while we were there and it was the perfect spot for enjoying the storm. Comfy chairs and a covered area for snuggling and reading. Bliss. Bubbles ready and waiting- just in case.:)

My Mom had the house decorated for Easter. She did not overlook a thing. It's amazing how she makes even the smallest things so very special.:)

This is a view from the kitchen table. I love my Mom's "Napoleon Ivy" china and the pool is not bad, either.:)

Katie loved helping Grandma make french toast at Bilbo Baggin's restaurant. That's what the girls call it when we get together with my parents. I'm not sure when it started but it's certainly stayed with us! Don't you love having special names and expressions that are just for your family?:)

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day was a flurry of activity at our house! Katie made cookies with her friend, Lillebeth. This one was her favorite. It lasted about a day but still ended up in someone's tummy.

Mandy invited her friend, Jocie, to spend the night. Jeff took us all out to dinner and then the girls played The American Girl game (no longer made but you can buy it on ebay) and watched The Princess and the Frog. LOVE this movie! Love the story, the music, the humor, everything! Have you seen it yet?

Katie spent the night with Lillebeth and they had the best time playing with their American Girl dolls. There is something so special about girls and their dolls...

We even had a little St. Patrick's Day celebration! I wore green so I wouldn't get pinched. Did you?:)

We also had Pokemon Club that day! I was so sure that Pokemon Club would be full of boys, but we certainly do have a lot of girls that love it, too!

Thank goodness I shopped early at the grocery store as all the "green goodies" were gone on St. Patrick's Day. I think lots of people have fun with holidays and why not?;)
