About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Noggin - Moose A. Moose

Do you watch Noggin?  If not, you are missing out.  Precious, darling and sweet- I love watching it with Katie.:)  Little Bill, Max and Ruby, Miss Spider, Toot and Puddle, and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast are all welcome at our house!

This is the cutest video!  Watch and see if you don't find yourself humming the tune, too.:)  The little houses remind me of the ones that Jes makes!  We are so ready for SNOW!

Living a Beautiful Life

Isn't that what we all want?  This book is lovely- truly.  It is written by Alexandra Stoddard, who also writes for Victoria magazine.  Love her.  Wonderful ideas for adding joy to many aspects of your day and around the house can be found here.  Every time I look through the book I get a new idea and inspiration.  I own almost all her books, but this one is my favorite....

I would love to share it with someone.  Would you like to read it?  If so, please leave a comment and I will draw a name on Thursday...  Good luck!

Little Houses Made with Love

I received some birthday money from my wonderful in-laws, John and Patty, (love you guys!) and I am having a ball finding special things for ME on Etsy!
If you have not visited Jes's shop- you must!  She makes the sweetest things!  My newest obsession are her little clay houses....

Aren't they precious??!  These two are mine and I am hoping to add more soon.  They are whimsical and precious and they sell very quickly.  I'm not the only one who loves them.:)

Jes is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet- and I just found out that she homeschools, too!  And I thought she couldn't get any better...  Stop by her blog and her shop.  You'll be glad you did.:)

Bookworm

This is a fun board game for the whole family.  Literature passages from different time periods (ex. The Wizard of Oz, The Chronicles of Narnia, etc.) are read and questions follow.  The girls and I played this the other night and had the best time!  Even little ones can play, as long as there is someone to read the cards for them.  Great for Family Night!

Harper's Island

I love a good whodunit.  This new series reminds me of the classic "And Then There Were None".  Agatha Christie really outdid herself on that masterpiece.  Does any else know "whodidit" in that mystery?  This show also reminds me of the movie "April Fool's Day".  Amy- You know what I mean!:)  I'm looking forward to April 9th...  Anyone else??
