Nancy Drew Swap Part 2

   The Nancy Drew Swap is now FULL!  Ladies, we are going to have such fun!  Please take pictures of your goodies before you mail them as I cannot wait to see what you come up with! **Don't forget to mail your packages by June 1st**  

   There will be a prize drawing for those of you that mail your package by June 1st (you must send me your delivery confirmation number) and send me a picture of the package you created.  Sound good??  I love a good mystery and a great giveaway!

Some Enchanted Evening

   The play was a huge success!  Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes, my dear, dear friends...

   I was a huge ball of stress, but when the lights went down I was able to sit back and enjoy.  It was a lovely evening and I wish you all could have been there to share it with us...

The Big Night!

Tonight is the BIG NIGHT!  I am one Nervous Nellie, let me tell you.  I am in the middle of getting costumes together, hair curled, make-up organized, rehearsing lines, etc....

   In case you do not know, Amanda is going to be Alice and Katie is going to be an oyster in our home school coop's production of Alice in Wonderland. They are not nervous in the least!  I am anxious enough for everyone involved!  sigh...

   Please say a little prayer that everything will go well tonight.  I just want my girls to have fun and to feel good about what they have done.  They have worked so hard and I am truly very proud of both of them.:)  It can be scary getting in front of a large group.  Certainly not my favorite thing to do...

   You know I will be taking lots of pictures, dear friends!  Thanks so much for your support!:)

On my Mind...

   We have an odd little niche at the top of our staircase.  Remember, Heather? It has such potential and yet remains empty...  I think this may be the solution!  A stage/nook for the girls!  Now who wouldn't love that??

   Have you seen this Healthy Choice commercial with "Elaine"?  Friends, I LOVE Seinfeld, but this commercial makes me SICK!  Have you seen it?  Take my advice and look the other way...

   This little beauty is going in the shop today...  Must think of a name first...

   I had the nicest chat with my darling bloggy friend, Darlene, the other night.  Loved it, Sweets!  I told her about Choose Your Own Adventure books.  My favorites were this one (below) and The Mystery of Chimney Rock.  Remember Mrs. Bigley and her cat or were they one in the same?  Creepy and fun!:)

This one.  Very clever, but soooo easy to despise.  She makes me ADORE Joan Rivers.  Yes, Val, it's true!  This chick is evil.  The Apprentice Showdown next Sunday is going to be GOOD.  Right Sue's Mom?  I know you are going to be watching, too.:)

   Still in my robe at 4:14.  Can you beat that Jes?  lol!

 I am getting super excited about my Nancy Drew Swap.   I only have 2 spots left ladies, and then the swap will be closed.  I plan on hosting this again next year, but do you really want to wait that long?  We are going to have such FUN!  

   I have chosen my mystery...  The Mystery of the Tolling Bell  **The beach, a ghost, an ominous bell and, of course, a mystery!**

Did you know that they make Nancy Drew Mystery Parties in a box?  I believe that you can find them on ebay...

   And check out this fabric!!!  Angi found it and sent me a picture!  Amanda actually designed a pair of shoes with it.  Yes, she did!  It would make a fabulous bag, too!  Wish I knew how to sew...

   My husband showed me this today at Wal Mart.  I am now putting a Nintendo DS on my Wish List.  

   I used to looooove watching Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys!  Do you girls remember it?  I had such a crush on Shaun Cassidy.  I saw him in concert- twice!  My parents took me as I was  just a wee lass.:)  (Can you tell my sister just got back from Ireland and I wish that I had tagged along?  Or is "wee lass" Scottish??)

Anyway, I have this series on DVD and you should, too.  Fun for the whole family.

   You can also play Nancy Drew on the computer.  You can stay up almost all night and still not solve the mystery.  You can also visit herinteractive.com for hints and still not solve it.  Not that I would know.

   Ah yes, the Nancy Drew Convention.  Who is coming with me??  Amanda and Lea go every year and they are taking part in my swap!  Who will be lucky enough to be their partners?

   That's all for now.  I am off to read The Mystery of the Tolling Bell.  Nancy is waiting for me.;)
