About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Nancy Drew anyone?

You all know that I love Nancy Drew.  Did you know there is a Nancy Drew convention held every year??  This year's theme is Nancy Drew mystery #52- The Secret of the Forgotten City.  I checked out the itinerary and there is a mystery party/dinner to attend, craft items that are swapped, fabulous accommodations and dining out- no cooking for 3 days!  This year it is being hosted at the Excalibur Hotel in Vegas.  I think this would be such fun to attend...

I have been considering hosting a Nancy Drew Swap for some time now.  What to make for my partner though?  Would anyone else be interested?

Do you have a favorite Nancy Drew book?

Would you be a Nancy, a George or a Bess?

Let me know what you think, Cuties!

I used to read those books many, many moons ago. Lexi has not read any of them yet. I really don't remember any particular book but I just remember I used to love them. Occasionally, I would ready a Hardy Boys Mystery too.

My daughter is really into Nancy Drew right now! I will have to tell her about the convention; she'll think that's great.

We have never read any Nancy Drew books but we have a DVD that we haven't watched yet. The convention sounds fun. Do they do Twilight Conventions over there?

I love the swap idea -- totally fun -- count me in!

My Auntie just bought Caroline the entire series. I can't wait for us to read them together.

We need to plan to go to the Nancy Drew convention some year -- wouldn't that be great! Love it.!

I LOVE Nancy Drew! I used to read her books when I was younger. I loved all the outfits she wore & all the fun places she got to visit while trying to solve a case. Oh and who could forget those dashing young Hardy boys, be still my beating heart! Hope you have fun at this convention. It's sure to be a ton of fun.

I started a new Blog! And it is public.

I am posting Jim's Grandmother's autobiography in hopes of getting more family history information. Hester Miller Murray and her brothers were artist and did a lot of work in the Chicagoland area.

My Brittany loves Nancy! But only the old ones, she doesn't like how they tried to modernize her! That convention would be so fun!

The joke here is I am Nancy Drew always trying to solve a mystery. I don't have a blog (I do but I don't know how to use it. LOL) I do have facebook. My e-mail is thebagglady@comcast.net.
