About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Let's See What Develops...

Cool project for a sunny day.

You need Mr. Sunshine for this art project!

Purchase sun sensitive paper.  In a *very* shady area place arrange your items (we used bits of nature- flowers, blades of grass, seed pods, etc.).  It's very sensitive to light so work quickly.

Then lay your collage in the sun for 30 seconds- 1 minute.  Through trial and error you will get the look *you* desire.
You will want to make more than 1- they are lovely!

Place your paper in water (combined with a bit of lemon juice) for 30 seconds- 1 min.
          See the picture emerging?

Remove your masterpiece from the water
                  and let dry.

                        Bring some friends along.
       The more the merrier!

The works of art are pretty enough to frame!

Thanks again for inviting us, Angela!:)

Hi Lori
This looks a fun activity. I would have loved to do this too. I think we would need to leave it longer than 30 seconds though over here! I imagine it would make cute writing paper when it's dry.
