About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Window Seats

Growing up, I always dreamed of having a window seat.  We have two in our home and that's one of the reasons I love it so much.  Such a perfect place to read, dream or play your Nintendo.:)  This is the life....
What do you love the most about your home?

Oh so cute! That does look cozy (minus the kitty, since I'm allergic, hehe). I love just cuddling up on the couch with all the kiddos :-)

Perfect! A window seat, a cozy nook, a book AND a kitty laying in your lap..... what could be more wonderful!

The heroines of the old Gothic/Victorian romances I used to read as a teen always seemed to find window seats for reading and escaping. And ever since I've had a secret hankering for one. As I don't have one at present, I'll enjoy yours vicariously!

We have window seats too!

My favorite thing has to be the skylights. Never had them before. They're big up here in New England. LOVE THEM.

I always wanted a window seat when I was little. I would have settled for just a window seat in the car really. LoL. It looks the kitty has found itself a pretty good spot, too.

One thing I love about our house is that our kitchen is smack dab in the middle of it. I am always in there anyway and this way I can hear everybody yelling for me at once. :-)

How cute! The Victorian we used to own had a window seat and I loved it. The house we live in now has a wonderful screened porch and I just love it! I spend as much time out there as I can!!

Hi Lori
I would love a window seat like that. Katie looks so cosy all cuddled up in the picture.
The thing I love most about my home is the view from the front windows. We look out over a small woodland and I enjoy watching it change through the seasons.

We're in the process of remodeling our home and I have a little room that I'm putting a window seat in! It's a perfect little room and the window looks out in the backyard into a big tree! There's lots of bluejays in this tree, so it's really magical...like being in a big treehouse!

I dreamed of window seats when I was little too...perfect for reading. Who am I kidding? I am still dreaming about them! My favorite part of my house? Has to be the fireplace...not that we get to use it so much, but if we want to it is there.

I wish I had a window seat. I really, really have always wanted one. I think I read a book when I was young that mentioned something about a window seat... I can still remember vividly how it looked... but I don't remember the book!! :) My favorite spot is my scrapbooking desk where I get to create a bunch of things.

I always wanted window seats growing up too! I still don't have any in my house. I love my porch swing and the huge windows I have in my house.
Katie is a cutie!
