What do you like to do on a rainy day?

   The day started with quite a rain storm but that didn't stop us from having fun with our friends!  My friend, Sue, and I had planned on taking our girls to the park but we quickly decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese instead.  The girls had a blast!  It's amazing how quickly 5 little girls can make 80 tokens disappear!

   Then it was off to the movies to see "Kit"!  The movie was absolutely wonderful- even better than I thought it would be!  Sue's girls even brought their American Girl dolls along!:-)  What a fun way to spend a rainy day.

I LOVE TJ Maxx!

   Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love TJ Maxx.  It's the ultimate treasure hunt!  The girls and I needed to find some gifts today for my Dad's birthday and, of course, we had to check out TJM!  Mandy read us "Meet Kit" in the car (We discovered that Mandy is a lot like Kit and Katie is a lot like Kit's best friend, Ruthie.) and we stopped for lunch at McAlister's for lunch.  Later, I found the cutest shoes for the girls and darling, fun, Vera Bradley summer stationery at you know where!  It makes me want to sit down and write letters to everyone I know.:-)

New Treasures Discovered

   I just wanted to share two "treasures" I discovered at yard sales recently.  I fell in love with the sweet (framed!) picture of the old fashioned children!  I am unsure of where it will go, but for $2 I could not pass it up.  It's a nice size- perhaps 16 x 20.  I also love this darling, embroidered apron.  Look at the sweet young girl!  I think she is dancing.:-)  I happily took it home for 25 cents!
