Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love TJ Maxx. It's the ultimate treasure hunt! The girls and I needed to find some gifts today for my Dad's birthday and, of course, we had to check out TJM! Mandy read us "Meet Kit" in the car (We discovered that Mandy is a lot like Kit and Katie is a lot like Kit's best friend, Ruthie.) and we stopped for lunch at McAlister's for lunch. Later, I found the cutest shoes for the girls and darling, fun, Vera Bradley summer stationery at you know where! It makes me want to sit down and write letters to everyone I know.:-)

Funny thing is my daughter and I went shopping today too. We had some real nice moments together.
I love TJ Maxx too! one time a friend of mine told me that the tj maxx by our house was closing and I about flipped out, she said I drove by there and I think there closing, so I call the store right then and there! lucky they were not I was so happy :)

K loved the Kit books, and read them before we went to the Kit Kitredge movie this past weekend. Took her cousin, and had a grand time. I'd recommend the movie, once she's read the books.
