About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! What to do on a hot day...

Any Tinkerbell lovers out there? My little Katie loves her and her fairy friends! Check out pixiehollow.go.com for the cutest little fairy adventures! You make your own fairy and travel all through Pixie Hollow. It is darling! Katie's fairies are Vanessa Bumble Puff and Daisy Sugar Button. Can you stand the cuteness??

If you are looking for a great way to cool off and enjoy your fruits and berries I highly recommend these smoothie mixes. We love them all! Last night we had strawberry/raspberry smoothies- YUM!

I am hooked on the Arnold Palmers at Mimi's Cafe. Never heard of them? They are refreshing drinks with iced tea and lemonade mixed together. Oh my... Since I can't go to Mimi's everyday we bought this at the grocery store...

My whole family loves it! Sweet and a bit tart with the lemonade. It hits the spot.:)

Just a reminder to check the fabric remnant section at Hobby Lobby. I am a huge fan!

Hi Lori
The pixie game sounds great. I love the names Katie chose. Jessica would have enjoyed that a few years ago! I remember her playing something similar with ponies, it was so sweet.
I have only ever had one smoothie! It was at Disney and it was lovely. I will have to look out for those packet mixes.
I hope you enjoy the final of Harper's Island. Please warn me if you post about it as I do not want to know. I am planning on watching it when we get it later this year.
Hope you are having a good Saturday.
Lindsay

I'll have to see if Lexi has ever been to that site. She may think she is too old for it....I'll see. Those smoothies sound good! I'll have to get some of those. Hope you are staying cool. It is 102 here today with the heat index of between 105 & 110!!!

Hey Lori,
There is something about fabric remnants that calm me... They are like beautiful sunflowers on a sunny day.
:)
I am trying to come out of blogging/Email hibernation-So much has gone on in the last two weeks that my head is still spinning. One of the things that happened is I lost my dear van (may she rest in peace) I am now the proud owner of a Toyota Tacoma truck-Which I love but am still trying to get used to.
So many other crazy things have gone on and we haven't been home very much that I thought I should just take a "Time Out" to adjust.

I will be writing you an E mail in the next couple of days to explain-I do hope you have been having a great summer so far... I'm excited to hear of any "new" news on things over there.

I've missed you.
Robin~♥

Have a wonderful monday!!

Lori, I forgot to tell you I love the turkey feathers in the nest picture in your header! I used to collect them when I went to visit my Mom and Dad on the farm in NJ.

Oh how I would love for a Hobby Lobby to be close to me so I can get some scraps...oh well can't have everything.

I will have to try the tea...I love me some lemons in my ice tea anyway...

Lexi has her room in pixies...she would love to see this. Never had a smoothie so I guess I need to try one. I hear so many saying they are real yummy!

Love your new header!
