About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Starbucks Happy Hour, Locks of Love and 17 Pounds

Ladies- I have lost 17 pounds so far.  It feels amazing.  But nothing is going to stop me from going to Starbucks when Happy Hour is going on.
My girlies enjoy the fraps and I indulge with a Skinny Caramel Macchiato.  Smiles.

Found a pretty for my Mom for Mother's Day.  I almost skipped out the door!  Not only that, she is coming for a visit!  I have a few more surprises planned for when she gets here.  Cannot wait.

It was time.  Cute, fun hairstyle (flat iron recommendations, please) and virgin (giggle- what the stylist called it!) hair donated to Locks of Love.  But seriously, it is a wonderful cause.  My sweetie pie loves her new do and that makes me so very happy.  Super big smile.

What do you dream of for Mother's Day?

YAY for your amazing weight loss, Lori! I bet you do feel like a million bucks! Talk about a great accomplishment! So proud of you! I love Mandy's new 'do'! Makes her look so grown up! How sweet of her to donate her hair to Locks of Love...someone will be very grateful for her gift. Hope you have a wonderful visit with your mom!

Great job Lori!!! I bet you look fabulous....pics please. Mandy's hair is beautiful. We had a Chi iron that lasted one year then died. Now we use the H2Pro which is a little cheaper than the chi, is hotter and recommended by our hair stylist. The girls like it better than their Chi and we found it on Amazon for like $70. Have a great time with your mom!!

CONGRATS Lori, ummm I think I have gained 17lbs through Happy Hour... They ALWAYS convince me (it's not hard) to upgrade to a Venti since it's only 20 cents more and sure SOME DAYS I share... others I do not...
