It's come to my attention that some of you never learned to play M.A.S.H.
(That's just wrong and I'm all about righting wrongs.)
M.A.S.H. is a really fun game to play when you're stuck somewhere with nothing to do. It was around before Nintendos, iPhones and the like were on the scene. Played it with my girls and we all loved it. Here's proof...
Want to play? Of course!
To begin, M.A.S.H stands for M-mansion, A-apartment, S-shack and H-house.
Then, the rest of the game is up to you.
The sheet I created last night is below. Let's go through it....
#1- Choose 4 people that you may end up marrying someday. The fun part is that you pick 2 "good" choices and 2 "bad" choices.:) (The giggles come when you get the "bad" ones!)
#2- Choose 4 numbers that will represent the # of children you will have. (Make sure at least one number is "Duggarlike"! )
#3- Four locations you may live.
#4- The type of car you will drive. (Notice I have a trash truck as one of my options!)
#5- Possible pets you may have. I was not hopin' for the tarantula.
When your sheet is ready, ask your friend (or yourself, but not cheating!) to pick a number from 1-10.
Using that number, we chose 8, you will begin counting from the MASH letters and then go to the people you may marry. M is 1, A is 2, S is 3, etc. Then you cross off the 8th item on your list, which just happened to be Edward on my list below...
Keep going down your list, counting to 8 each time. When you get to the 8th item, you cross it off. These things will not be in your future.
Look, I will not be having 20 children or living at the dump! Hurrah! But we're not done yet...
Oh my, looks like I will be driving a trash truck. No Ferrari. Wha, wha, whaaaa.
Keep counting to 8 (or whatever # you choose) until you have one item left in each category.
What does the future hold for you?:)

We used to play M.A.S.H ALL-THE-TIME... Love that game, a lost art indeed!
Jen- It's timeless, don't you agree? We all want a peek into our future.;) I had fun playing it again after all these years! Lori
I would have been mad at Edward for cheating on me ;)
LOVE this oldie, but goodie! Fun!
Denise- I knew someone would appreciate Edward being mentioned.:) I'm stuck with Harry Potter- sigh.... Lori
Never have played MASH.
When Rusty and I were engaged and everyone was already asking, "How many kids are you going to have?" My answer was "Ten kids." That raised some eyebrows, but they stopped asking! Some might say I got pretty close.....
But at least you'll be living at the BEACH!
Mom
Mom-YES!! Living at the beach is a dream! Someday, perhaps? Love you...
Amy- You must play with your cutie pie! It's really more of a "girl" game- so fun!:) Lori
Never EVER heard of it...what a neat game, we'll do this for sure!
Val- Everyone must play this game at least once! It really is such fun!:) Lori
I just love this Lori. I can't believe we don't play it here. We used to play Tinker, Taylor, Butcher, Sailor, Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Thief whilst skipping. You skipped getting faster and faster saying this and the one you trip on is who you will marry.
So right, I have my MASH board ready and I need YOU to pick a number for me please. Then I will share my answers :)
Please pick 2 numbers Lori. One for you and one for me. I'll then give you your answers aswell as mine. :) Can you tell I like playing this? hahahaha
Lindsay- I pick 2 for me and 5 for you.:) Thanks for playing along! I can't wait to see what is in our futures.:) Katie and I are trying the "Tinker, Tailer, Butcher, Sailor, " game right now. Boy, that gets your heart pumping! I am going to marry a Beggar Man and Katie is going to marry a thief- lol! Lori
You are going to live in a mansion, drive a train, have a pet rabbit, live at the seaside and have 4 children with Simon Cowell!!!! hahaha
I am going to live in a shack, drive a rolls royce, have a pet chipmunk, live on Prince Edward Island and have 1 child with Tom Hanks. That's so funny.
Glad you are enjoying the skipping game.
Lindsay

Lindsay- I love my future (minus Simon Cowell!)! Perhaps he will stay away from home and I can enjoy living at the seaside with my children and my bunny.:) Look at you on Prince Edward island with Tom Hanks! Not bad!;) Thanks so much for making me smile once again, dear sister.:) Lori
haha I could probably put up with living in a shack if it was with Tom Hanks on Prince Edward Island! Will you come visit me there if I come visit you at the seaside? When Simon is away from home of course!!!!
Lindsay-Yes- I will visit you- and often!:) Lori
