About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Dallas. Oh, Dallas.

Dallas, oh Dallas, how you tempt me.
So many restaurants and stores calling my name.

But it is hot there.
Good thing malls were invented.

And massage chairs.

Nordstrom.
Piano playing.
Friendly sales clerks.
Fab cosmetics.
Glamorous Shoes.

And the cafe.  The Cilantro Lime Salad and Brie Sandwich.
Ladies who lunch.  Yes, ma'am.

Not quite Nordstrom lady-like, but we snuck one anyway.;)

Let's get this straight.  I'm not a cupcake lover.  They are cute but normally not worth the calories.
Gigi's is the exception.  Gorgeous and beyond yummy.

You are lucky if you have one near you.
Or maybe you're not.

Different flavors each and every day.
Which one would you pick?

I chose the Top Hat cupcake.
Devil's Food Cake and Chocolate Ganache.
Crazy delicious.

See below.
They were gone within minutes.
The bottom right cupcake was Cinnamon Roll.
It tasted just like a Cinnabon.

Not sure what the Weight Watchers calories are on these beauties.
I was afraid to look.

No sitting around after that treat!
Time to walk some of it off (hopefully) at another mall.

What is she doing??
Fulfilling a request.

:)

We stumbled upon an Anthropologie!
How do they make them so inviting and fabulous?
I want my home to be like this.

Just for fun.:)

LEGOS.
I do believe they are potentially dangerous in the dark but the Lord of the Rings characters are quite fabulous!

Who else is excited about The Hobbit coming out this Christmas?

I'm ready to go back to the Shire.
Or Dallas.
Whatever comes first.

Looks like cool fun! There's no place else to be but inside. I wish I had one of those cupcakes right now! They look so delicious. Love the picture of you and Katie! I didn't know The Hobbit was coming out at Christmas. Yeah!

Hi Lori, I really enjoyed seeing your fun pictures from Dallas. Those cupcakes look so good. I would choose the Princess Cupcake with the cute crown on top! Wow an ice rink in a shopping mall that's amazing. Glad you had a great time. Wish I had been there too. I really must try and get into The Hobbit some time

Lindsay- Katie picked the Princess Cupcake! SHe said it was very yummy- strawberry! You and Jessica would have loved this mall. There is even a lovely hotel IN the mall! You can stay there and shop, ice skate, eat whenever you like. My kind of vacation.:) Lori

Try to give the Hobbit a try. It's the easiest to read of The Lord of the Rings and quite funny in parts! I read it with the girls and we all had a great time.
