About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Bible Stories Painting Book 2- Summer Fun at Home & On the Go!

This fabulous and fun book, Bible Stories Painting Book 2, recently traveled with us with us on vacation.

Because vacations always include downtime.  You know, when Mom can read and Dad can take a nap?

Yes, that is the definition of a real vacation.:)

My 10 year old daughter loved it.  I'd say the perfect age for this book would be between 3 and 7 but 10 year olds will certainly enjoy it, too.  Mine sure did.

There are 4 huge pages of paint palettes!  To get started, fill one of the glasses they put in your hotel room with water. (Personally, I try not to drink out of the glasses as I saw a 20/20 episode where women use them to wash their pantyhose.  truth.) *Be sure to pack a paintbrush as one isn't included with the book.  Yes, I did pack one!  I was in top form when packing, although that's not always the case.*

Choose one of the 16 precious scenes from the Old and New Testament and then paint away!  It's simple, neat (smile) and will keep your little ones busy for a looooonnggg time.;)

This book would be perfect to use at home, at the pool, camping, and even at the doctor's office.  Perfect for vacation, too!   You may even find yourself asking for a turn.:)

Bible Stories Painting Book 2 is created by Juliet David and illustrated by Simon Abbot.  $7.99

My daughter truly enjoyed painting as well as reading the gentle, simple words explaining the pictures.  I loved that there was no mess to clean up!

*I was given this book by Kregel in exchange for my honest opinion.  No other compensation was received.*
