About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Fall Cannot Come Too Soon

A fabulous giveaway at a Little Bit Funky! Stop by and enter!

I was talking to my sweet bloggy sister, Elise, today while dragging my girls around town. I was searching for yard sale treasures and having no luck. At around 2:30 when all the sales are usually over I came upon a little church rummage sale. Yippee! I got this fabric for 50 cents- it's just plain fun!

Before I show you my other little treasure, let me demonstrate how ready I am for Fall. Look what I made for my front door! Mr. Crow came home with me from the Dollar Tree today. Remember them from last year? Well, I could not find even one then! So today I have 6 nesting in my closet.:)

Ta Da! This little beauty was mine for $1! (Please excuse the blue recycling bin behind it.) Love it! I am going to repaint it and display some little nick knacks in my studio... What color, though?

What plans do you have for the weekend?

I just adore your wreath. I started working on some Halloween houses to add to my shop. I've got the bug for fall also! By the way, I think I'd like to buy that bird fabric from you, it's adorable ;) LOL!

Normally I'm with you on fall not coming soon enough, but our spring and summer was soooo late in coming, it feels like we just got started, and before you know it, it's time to say goodbye.

So I am hoping for a few more really nice days that feel just like summer.

The wreath is really cute! I'm glad you got ahold of some crows this year.

I like your little Nik Knack holder...As far as paint goes, what color is your studio?
Is that the room with the table you just re-did? If so Pink, Yellow, bright blues or greens.
Then again black goes with everything too!
Can't wait to see what color you end up choosing!
My plans: I'm getting my desktop computer worked on and cleaned up (a birthday present that I asked for) AND Tim and I have been running around shopping a little.
