About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Co-op Night of Talent!

It was a night for our homeschool co-op to shine!

The Emperor's New Rags was on the program...

Here are the peasants trying not to tell the king how horrid he looks!

Is anyone brave enough?

Here is a brave lad!  And look!  The king appreciates his honesty.:)

The girls wait patiently for their opportunity to dance.

My friend's talented son on the piano.:)

And there were monologues, too!
Hello Mr. Caterpillar!
"Who arrrrrrrre you?"

Followed by Alice!  Who is concerned about falling down the rabbit's hole!  When she hits the bottom, "Oh, how it shall hurt!"

The Guardian Angels danced beautifully.

My dear friend, Angel, created the designed and sewed the costumes in one night.  Gorgeous.

The last play was The Great Church Robbery.  This young man (my sweet friend's other son) was similar to the Grinch in that he despised the happy church members.  In the end he was touched by their hearts.  It was really good! (Love the car!)

Lori, It looked such a great event. I could feel, through the pictures, just what a super group of kids they are and how enjoyable they found it. Loved seeing Mandy as Alice again and Katie in action dancing. Those dresses are adorable, I am amazed your friend created them so quickly.
