Today was a glorious day. My girls went to Vacation Bible School and came home with Bible songs and stories to share with us. Then the neighborhood Lab, Lady, came to play and brought a friend along! He looks like a bulldog and is as homely as anything- but what a sweetheart! I'm always thinking that I should keep the girls away from stray dogs, but since we have no dogs of our own it is hard to deny them this joy. The dogs ran up and down our driveway playfully chasing the girls on their bikes. Back and forth and back and forth they ran- over and over and over... Katie was riding her bike and shouting, "This is the best day- EVER!" She wants so badly to keep this new friend....
