About Me

My photo
Mysteries, polka dots, California Rolls, TJ Maxx, cozy blankets, rainy days and getting the first spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar make me smile. Spiders, rude people, cold fingers and toes, baby leashes, people that don't wrap their packages before going to the Post Office, poison ivy and Math (pretty much all of it) make me want to scream. My perfect day would be spent with my wonderful husband and sweet girls- watching movies in our jammies! Of course, having the movie theater to ourselves would be great, too. Please pass the popcorn and M&M's.:) I am saved by the grace of God. He is my constant companion and hears my every prayer. What a blessing! I'd love to hear from you! Happy Meals and Spa Nights

Today....
My little one and I went to McDonald's for Happy Meals. Do you do ever get Happy Meals for yourself? I do. That way I can still get french fries and not feel tooooo guilty.:) Plus the prize puts a smile on my face. They can always go in a geo-cache if no one wants them. This is the current Happy Meal toy. American Girl activities!! By the way, Katie was chosen to be a model in the American Girl fashion show!

I started reading this. The Pawn. Amy recommended it and it is really good! The first chapter was very hard to get through, though. Rough stuff. But I prevailed and I'm glad. Thanks Amy!:) Next will be The Time Traveler's Wife which I will read with my sweet bloggy sister, Robin. Have any of you read this? What did you think?
Mandy had a sleepover tonight. Don't these two look like sisters?

They decided to have a Spa Night. Check out the Pumpkin Face Masks...

And look at the monkey in the middle.:)

They soaked their toes in my tub (Origins Ginger!) while they enjoyed hot chocolate and tea. Then they applied lotion...

After all that pampering I hope they have a good night's rest.:)

What a fun girls night! I give my daughter pedicures sometimes. ;0)

I haven't read that book. I would like the read The Time Traveler's Wife sometime.

I haven't ordered a Happy Meal for myself for a while. Good Idea!

Congratulations Katie. We look forward to seeing you in the American Girl Fashion Show. You are going to look just perfect.
Mandy looks to be having so much fun with her friend at her sleep over. The spa night sounds great.
I have the occasional Happy Meal too at McDonalds. Do you have the option of fish fingers in your happy meals? Years ago when we were in France we were trying to ask for fish fingers ( Tim was doing some very good miming!) and they didn't do them. We ended up with a fish filet in our bag! Their Happy meals had frozen yoghurt included too which was weird.

LOL ! The kids look like they were having fun, and getting all pretty at the same time.

I did'nt read The Time Traveler's Wife, but my good friend (ex boyfriend) and I saw the movie of it last week!

He even had tears in his eyes too! I sure did, and will buy it when it comes out in DVD.

Happy Meals Yeaaa ! Great idea to slim down the size of the food and us too!

Gosh I sure could use some pampering since I have been so busy lately but I will soon take the time...Girls love to be pampered!

Oh cool how Katie was chosen...Love the header of her smelling the tuplip. Can't wait to see some pics of her American Girl fun day.

Oh and Happy Meal toys...I started saving them to send to school for the weekly save box for treats in Lexi's class when they are good at the end of the week. I much rather have toys or something besides candy...just would be high dentist bills with that much candy and don't won't that.

Ooops sorry meant to tell you love the blanket you did for Tristen's baby....I was telling her so many wonderful ladies in blog land...Just my kinds of friends! Caring!

The first chapter was rough--I don't know how many times I thought, "Maybe I won't read this." But I had to find out what happened! I was glad I stuck with it in the end.

The girls look like they're having so much fun! Sounds like you gals had a great weekend!

Katie got picked! Yeah!! I bet you all were tickled pink!

Congratulations to Katie...that's awesome!

I love happy meals...that way I don't have to share my food with Glenn..lol! Usually, I have so much left over when I get the regular meals, he ends up eating the rest of mine!

Mandy is as beautiful as Katie is cute. I love the friend -- she and Mandy do look alike.

I am in with reading the Time Traveler's Wife with you guys. Let me know when you start. XO.

Hey...Happy Meals work for me!:) I haven't read that particular book...I'm so far behind on my reading, it isn't funny! I bet those girlies had a ball during the sleepover! Nothing like a good old-fashioned spa treatment to make a girl feel all glammed up!
